Thank you, Nate and Bryan, for helping move the new couch!
While we love our new apartment, we are acutely aware of the fact that we've moved into Little Mexico. At least 4 of the other 5 families in our building are Hispanic. Which explains why everything smells like old tacos.
Our neighbors are super nice, despite the ethnic cooking odor. Claudia brought us a box full of oranges last night.
I'm not sure what to do with 19 oranges. I think I'll have to scrounge up a recipe for orange muffins or some other citrus confection to share in return.

I'm glad you're all moved in! I can't wait to see pics! And that is a lot of oranges, but what friendly neighbors you have! The moving process is over for you, and now you get to start unpacking and decorating. I'm so ready for that, but we're not moving into the place we found until September 1st. I guess I can wait three weeks...
I still can't believe we moved at the exact same time! It sounds like no one was seriously injured in either move, so I think we can mark them off as a success!
I actually twisted my ankle pretty severely moving stuff in, but it is starting to feel better. :)
