The Blanket is Finished!

I finished joining all my granny squares last week, but I have been procrastinating actually finishing the afghan by adding a border. So last night I sat down for about 3 straight hours and cranked out a few neat rows of border. Here is a photo shoot of the finished product.

The aforementioned procrastinated border.

It adorns the hope chest behind the couch.

The hope chest has become Apollo's favorite hangout.

"Hi guys!"

Apollo is very glad that I am finished. He finally gets to play with the extra yarn he has been coveting for months. This morning he dragged his yarn friend up onto the bed to play.
