Burdsal Palooza

Momma Burdsal, Pappa Burdsal, Rachel, and baby Maron made the trek to Utah last week, and we have been living in a constant state of Burdsalness. We have visited Seth's various siblings as they hosted the out-of-towners this last week, and it has been so fun to spend lots of time with his family.

On Saturday, most of the gang went to a pumpkin patch in Santaquin. Where is Santaquin, you ask? In the exiled and forgotten lands of Utah, to the south.

We all picked out pumpkins from the vast pumpkin patch. Of course, we all claim that our pumpkins are the very best ones.

Joy inherited her mom's shopping sense. She selected, and subsequently discarded, several perfect pumpkins before she settled on her pumpkin of choice.

Maron, the "Suspicious" Asian Baby
Later in the day, we went to the BYU football game. And we actually won! Woot!

On Sunday, we had dinner at Nathan's house. While we were there, Joy (who is 3) called Maron suspicious. The adults, of course, all thought this was hilarious. Kids say the darndest things!

The visiting Burdsal clan has returned to Virginia, and we miss them already!

So jealous! Why is it such an ordeal to go to a pumpkin patch out here? I would seriously have to rent a car to go to one. I am proud that you went to the BYU football game!!! Go Cougs!
